As far as I know, they stopped production more than a year ago and it’s now only sold at retailers in Japan. You can get it through online retailers (e.g. [here](https://meccha-japan.com/en/video-games-consoles/101916-pokemon-go-plus–.html)) that import it from Japan, but you should expect to pay > 100€/$ for it.
Edit: To clarify, they were sold in Japan until a few months ago, but it seems they’re now sold out pretty much everywhere there too.

As what i have heard is they are working on a digital plus+ into the game in the future, i gues it will be like a “x amount of money for1 month” subscription type thing

Does it really have to be a real one? I’ve been using ones fron Aliexpress since ‘day one’ and they work great. Unless there’s a feature they don’t have you can keep allot of that well saved money in your pocket?

I’ve been using a Brook auto catcher from Amazon. Was $40; save for the snorlax quest, it auto catches mon and auto spins stops/gyms. Also has a couple settings to toggle on/off. Doesn’t work the BEST (disconnects easily) but I’ve been using it for like 3 weeks and it’s been pretty good so far!

I don’t use mine so I just listed on eBay, but I’m in Canada.
The Go Plus+ also allows you to pair it with Pokemon Sleep which rewards you with five encounters with this guy.
