Deyenday's design was mostly based on plant cells and embryos. I tried to make the sprouting stems on its head and torso look like umbilical cords + a sprouting seed. The overall shape of the body is supposed to give off the symmetrical feel of a DNA strand
Deyenday evolving into Pokemon representing different bodily systems is based on how stem cells function. (They're also why the line is primary grass type, it helps convey the idea)
Carvaday represents the cardiovascular system, so I made it a bloody rose covered in thorns. A rose for the heart's connection to love -> roses. I'm going to rework this design, leaning into the dark typing and going for a "broken heart" theme.
Respriday's design is more straight forward, representing the respiratory system. I thought a pine tree would be a good plant to showcase the relationship between the lungs and oxygen. I also gave it little wings because they're cool. They're just for show, the "lungs" act as balloons granting them flight
