Never seen or heard of him before, although not necessarily surprising as I am a recently returning player after a long break and was a very casual player before that, also from the original kanto era so I know all the oldies well and pretty much none since.
I was out with adventure incense looking for the elusive galarian birds as not had an encounter since the legendary weekend and was getting them fairly regularly before that (even though they ran every time obv) and he was very big and caught my eye so I grabbed him. Not sure if he is rare and I was lucky or a pretty normal occurrence or even if there's an event on again or what but my poke luck is notoriously terrible so I'd love to know if I've finally stumbled on something interesting
