Trainers… it finally happened.

Mimikyu has officially made its debut in Pokémon GO during the April Fools event, and yes… this is NOT a joke.

In this video, I go over everything you need to know about Mimikyu’s release — from how it’s spawning right now as a rare wild encounter, to where you might be able to get it during the event. This fan-favourite Ghost/Fairy Pokémon has been one of the most requested additions for YEARS, and it’s finally here… but of course, it’s not going to be easy to find.

We also talk about its unique PvP mechanic where it completely ignores the first charge attack it gets hit with before switching into its Busted Form, which changes the way battles play out. It’s honestly one of the most interesting Pokémon mechanics we’ve ever seen in Pokémon GO.

    i didnt know mimikyu was coming to the game so i had a small heart attack when i saw my favorite pokemon pop up right infront of me
