Didn’t put thought into making the teams good or balanced, there’s unevolved Pokemon and legendaries on some teams. I just picked ones that fit their vibe best I could!
Kinger: Volbeat because it’s a bug that’s part of a matching pair with Illumise, like Kinger and Queenie. Porygon-Z and rotom because he’s a programmer. Drampa because he’s an older father figure in the circus. Volcarona because he loves bugs. Slowking because he’s “king” in the circus, ajd like Kinger losing his bucket, Slowking becomes dimwitted if its hat comes off.
Jax: Dragapult because it’s mischievous and I’m convinced Jax would find it funny that it launches its Dreepy (he canonically enjoys violence), Inteleon because they have similar vibes and it shoots guns, cinderace because rabbit, Gengar because mischievous and purple, Klefki because it’s a prankster that’s always stealing people’s keys, and Politoed for his friendship with Ribbit.
Ragatha: Banette because they’re both dolls, Blissey because it’s caring and wants to make people happy, Mudsdale and Torchic because she had horses and chickens on her childhood farm, Leavanny because it’s a caring mother figure, and Indeedee because they both like to help others
Zooble: Grafaiai because Zooble used to be a tattoo artist, Polteageist because they used to work at a bar (yeah I know this one’s a stretch) Dracozolt and Silvally because they both have mismatched appearances, Zangoose because similar names and vibes, and Minior because they both have a ton of different forms they can take
Gangle: Ogerpon because they both wear masks, Vanilluxe because she used to work fast food (and the two faces works with her two masks) gardevoir for her love of anime, Morpeko and Cherrim to represent the two sides of Gangle with the masks, and Smeargle because she’s an artist.
Pomni: Blacephalon because they’re both clowns, Gimmighoul because she would explore abandoned buildings and Gimmighoul is found in abandoned places, Kecleon because Pomni changes colors when she holds her breath and Kecleon runs the shop in the Mystery Dungeon games and she used to work for a supermarket, Pawmi because they basically have the same name (Pomni was really hard so I had to stretch for some lol) Hatterene because they both have hats, and Krookodile for her friendship with Gummigoo.
