I am sitting at catch 500 pokemons from kalos. I have caught around 90 so far. I might not be able to complete this reach by the end of 2026.

Oh man I’m so glad I didn’t get this for my kids in the end. They’re casual (screen time limits) so they’re about 1-1½ YEARS away from those platinum medals. My little girl would’ve cried.

Actually pleasantly surprised these aren’t explicitly timegated. Although, the souvenirs still kind of can be. But you can prep some buddies with souvenirs, so I guess that’s… something? I’m not adding additional days because you can technically do it within a day, but it is very much dependent on your buddy situation and if you do any prep beforehand.
**Masterwork timegates:**
Keldeo – 72 days
Meloetta – 68 days
Celebi – 63 days
Shaymin (Global) – 54 days
**Diancie – 49 (so far)**
Jirachi (Global) – 47
Jirachi (IRL event) – 35 days
Shaymin (IRL event) – 34 days
Apex – 30 days (Buddy heart 30 days in a row)
Master Ball Oct. 2024 – 14 days
Catching Wonders (Master Ball May 2024) – 7 days

You can only get max 3 per day even if you keep your buddy fed and active, another 1.5 week time gate lol
