Visited Pokémon centers in Shibuya, Tokyo DX, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka DX, and Osaka as well as the stores at Tokyo Station and Narita Airport. Also stopped by the gift shops at the Pokémon cafes and of course the new theme park PokéPark Kanto.
A lot of them were sold out of exclusive plushies and pins but had a bunch of cool 30th anniversary merch too. Recommend getting to any of them a bit before they open before they run out of stuff or the checkout lines get too long. Had to give up a few times and come back another day.
So tragic to hear about the employee in Ikebukuro. All the staff were super excited and friendly at all the locations.
