After two weeks of traveling through Japan (Sapporo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, and Tokyo) I figured I’d compile stats from before and after the trip.
Money spent – 3 100$ packs during trip (2 100$ packs at end of trip due to yen conversion for future use) it was about 15$ cheaper per pack here in Japan due to yen conversion.
This was spent on lures, incubators, and incenses as I ran about 12 hours of incense per day.
700 rare candies I had stockpiled were all used on palkia along with the 350 candies I had were all used. This is about 35 hours of palkia so around 3 hours of palkia per day.

Shinies caught – 41 shinies Avg per day – 2.73

Of the shinies caught, 6 were from raids and 3 were from eggs.
Of the hundos caught – 5 were from eggs, 3 were wild and 1 was raid.
Picknicker stat – 2454 Avg per day 163.6
Giants pikachu raids – 23 7 with background and zero shiny
Stamps visited – 22 and got quite a few different background location cards from that as well!
Eggs hatched – 480 eggs.
Poke balls upon landing in Japan – 0 pokeballs, 1232 great balls, 868 ultra balls.
Poke balls upon leaving Japan – 2860 pokeballs, 3025 great balls, 1579 ultra balls.
Pokemon go is just absolutely insane in the big 3 cities of Japan. Even Sapporo had quite a lot of stops.
