Mega gengar is never good for psychic types because of his poison typing. I have a maxed shundo, and he gets 1 shotted by every psychic type raid boss I try to use him for. Im about to use him as a poison type attacker.

Its insane how many people/youtubers are trying to gaslighting, people into thinking this it the bestt GO fest ever, which its not. The only thing good about the event is that we are all getting the ticket for free. Mega mewtwo is a overall bad mega, and having all legendary in raid are just bad.
I think i don't want to watch these videos anymore they blend together so much and i maybe am missing it but when even is this event?
As a person who’s loved to raid and I don’t have 80% of the entire event and stopped playing since 2020 I’m going to feast those days 😅

Super mega falinks cost both the raid pass and the link charges, couldn't pick one or the other. So they must have changed that
Literally have only ever gotten one of two mega charizards because I don't have enough friends irl to play with to do mega raids with. I'm already saving up as many coins as I can to be able to buy remote raid passes for Go Fest. Cool guide anyway, though lol.

I struggle to do a mega altaria, imagine a mega mewtwo
Step 1: don't be broke
I have been f2p for 6 years but this year I am popping a 50 bucks
Just stocked up on incubators and already built my teams for Mewtwo
Here are some tips to get you prepared for GO Fest;
1. If you have a Crowned Sword Zacian, make sure to have around 1,000 Zacian candies for the Behemoth Blade Adventure Effect.
2. I'd reccommend clearing out at least 1,000 Pokèmon and Item spaces going into the event. Trade your stockpiled mons and transfer any mons you don't need.
3. For the GO Fest Raids, I'd reccommend prioritizing Mega Mewtwo above all else as it'll be a top tier raid attacker in 5 types (Psychic, Ghost, Electric, Fighting, and Ice) which can hit 14 of the 18 Pokèmon types for super effective damage. I wouldn't reccommend focusing on any of the other raids besides Mewtwo(unless your a background collector) as most of the stuff being featured in the 4* & 5* raid pool will be back in the next 6-8 months while Mega Mewtwo won't be returning to the raid pool for at least a year after Global GO Fest, if not significantly longer.
4. If your deadset on not raiding Mewtwo for whatever reason, here are the other bosses that wouldn't be a total waste of your Premium Raid Passes;
– Saturday;
– Kyogre (4:00–7:00)
– Groudon (4:00–7:00)
– Rayquaza (4:00–7:00)
– Origin Giratina (1:00–4:00)
– Reshiram (4:00–7:00)
– Zekrom (4:00–7:00)
– Base Kyurem (4:00–7:00)
– Sunday;
– Origin Palkia (10:00–1:00)
(Only if it can learn Spacial Rend during Global GO Fest)
– Origin Dialga (10:00–1:00)
(Only if it can learn Roar of Time during Global GO Fest)
– Heatran (10:00–1:00)
– Terrakion (4:00–7:00)
– Therian Landorus (10:00–1:00)
– Nhilego (1:00–4:00)
– Base Necrozma (1:00–4:00)
– HOMB Zamazenta (4:00–7:00)
– HOMB Zacian (4:00–7:00)
5. Make sure to create a preset team for each Mega Mewtwo with the mega mon being slotted at the 6th spot.
6. Go to campfire and search for nearby community ambassador meetups. When you find one, RSVP and check into the meetup to earn rewards for checking in while getting to meet up with other trainers.
7. You'll want at least 2 fully charged battery bricks going into the event, especially if you plan on being out for most of the day.
8. If your looking to stock up on Premium Raid Passes before GO Fest, look for a bundle in the shop that'll cost 5425 Pokècoins. It'll give you 99 Premium Raid Passes, 2 of each TM, and 2 Star Pieces. That's 100$ worth of raid passes for roughly 40$ worth of Pokècoins ro 3-4 months of gym grinding.
9. If you have less than 100 Premium Passes going into Global GO Fest, then I'd reccommend only using your daily raid passes while going all out for Mega Mewtwo Y on Sunday. If you have 200 or more Premium Passes, split them evenly between Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y.
