October 21st marks Beldum’s Community Day in Pokemon GO. This suggests that Metagross may finally get a decent charge move allowing it to join the other psuedo-legendary Pokemon (namely Dragonite and Tyranitar) at the top of the Pokemon GO meta! Of course, we don’t have any hard numbers right now, only speculation. In order to feed our curiosity, I decided to graph out Metagross’s potential performance with Meteor Mash by simulating it as a Steel-type clone of ~10 charge moves that already exist in Pokemon GO. Overall, it appears that anything that’s better than Flash Cannon will be a huge boon for our favorite hunk of metal!
