I persevered… Watched how other people did it, shuffled my team around, tweaked some parameters and got the W in this week’s Champion Stadium.

0:08 Karen – Use powerful moves quickly
Reviewed Lucario’s sync grid and found a Dire Hit MPR2. That’s what got me through. I don’t have to buff Lucario’s crit chance now so i can focus on survivability and accuracy for the supports. at least 4x accuracy buff is need to counter Houndoom’s x4 evasion buff, so Eevee gets first 2 synhc moves, then Lucario sync to mega. Left Lucario at critical HP for Power Reserve 5. Then only i got enough damage to pull through.
5:06 Koga – Don’t let your sync pairs faint
Fix the parameters to draw out the match giving the opponent as much HP as possible but as little damage as possible. Introducing the infinite potion maker Swanna. Garchomp is still on 1/5 so she needs the boost from sand. Palossand uses sandstorm and flinch to buy time, and Swanna tries to keep everyone healthy to buy time for Garchomp to setup, then sweep. Depending on the February datamine, my 2 5 star striker candy might just go to Garchomp. She’s all i have for a better Ground striker.
9:16 Will – Use sync move quickly
Gridded Dusknoir to focus on Shadow punch damage since the rest of the grid aren’t that useful in this match. Took Sync Emergency and that came in handy by the end of the match. That 10k damage is just a pleasant surprise. Mismagius just Ball’s everyone to death and Comfey tanks. Straight forward match. The easiest this week might be Will. If i didn’t mess up my input at the end i just might have gotten the victory more convincingly.
13:55 Bruno – Use stat lowering effects
Torterra is here to take advantage of the stat lowering parameter, siphoning attack from the opponents to lower their damage. This match is a reverse, i gave the opponent as much strength as possible and as little HP as possible. Torterra can tank physical hits pretty well with Reflect support from Alakazam. Dust out my Reuniclus, gridded her and she does pretty well! Her sync damage goes up to 12k. This match was a goner until Alakazam had a clutch confusion inflicted on the last opponent, and it actually gave me a free turn. Another close encounter.
17:52 Champion Battle – Use special damage reduction + use powerful moves
So you’re a Super Boss that owned the battle the last time i was here AND you’re weak to water? Blastoise comes in here no question. Double rain to support Swampert for a quick match. Pelipper came through with the couple of flinches, but i doubt it would change the outcome of the match if it didn’t. In your face Lance!
I need another tank who can tank as well as Blastoise. Prime candidates are Torterra and Comfey. I’ll assess my options and after the datamine, make my decision on who to promote to 6 star EX. Anyways week 4 of Champion Stadium done. Let’s see what the datamine brings us.
