Pokemon Masters – Champion Stadium – Kanto Master Mode #1 (7500 pts, F2P 'Friendly' Run)

Champion Stadium – Kanto Master Mode #1 – 7500 Points
F2P “Friendly” Run – No Gacha 5* units.

1) Lorelei (0:00)
2) Bruno (2:28)
3) Agatha (5:52)
4) Lance (7:59)
5) Blue (13:28)

1) Lorelei – Pikachu (4*, 5/5), Vileplume (4*, 3/5), Medicham
The success rate with this team is at best 10%, but it really would be 50% or higher if Lorelei didn’t have that annoying evasion buff. I had to reset so many times due to missing Tbolts. If I had Eggchu I would use it for Piercing Gaze, but I don’t have one. So it’s either Hau/Raichu, Mew, or this. Power Reserves is so good for master mode because you can tune the parameters so you always get into range.

Grids: Pikachu goes for Power Reserves 5 / Power Reserves 9 / Paralysis Synergy / Some thunderbolt power nodes.
Parameters: Tune the parameters so you get into Power Reserves range after the first sync. Ideally you give them mostly offensive buffs so you can take out Dewgong before his second sync.

2) Bruno – Mew (5* 5/5), Torchic (4*), Swanna (5*, 16/20)
Bruno always gives me the most problems in these master mode “F2P” runs because he hits super hard with Close Combat, and will also throw in the occassional Earthquake for good measure. Usually I end up having to use my ace, Swanna, for him. Potion refreshes needed.

Grids: Inertia + Blind Spot for Mew. Swanna goes for standard healing tiles.
Parameters: Give them mostly HP buffs. I’ve found this to be effective since the sync nuke does enough damage to eat through the added HP, but really I don’t know what the best config is.

3) Agatha – Chandelure (5/5), Mewtwo (5/5 20/20), Serperior (6EX 2/5)
I used this team for a previous week Ghost weakness, and it works very well. Not much else to say.

Grids: X Special Attack MPR is nice to have, that’s about it.
Parameters: Give them mostly attack buffs.

4) Lance – Onix (4* 3/5), Seviper, Egg Nidoqueen (4*)
Kind of a mediocre toxic stall team and not very consistent since it requires 2+ potion refreshes, but I think this is the best I could come up with given the remaining units I have.

Grids: Onix goes for defensive tiles and healing.
Parameters: Give them all HP, shields, defenses.

5) Blue – Masquerain (4* 3/5), Crobat (3/5), Ariados
Use Trap + Poison against Blue because he is particularly vulnerable to Trap and Poison this week.

Grids: Masquerain goes for Pokey Trap, First Aid, MGR, MPR. Crobat goes for nuke, although it doesn’t really matter since the bulk of the damage will come from poison.
Parameters: Give them all HP, shields, defenses.
