Champion Stadium – Kanto Master Mode #2 – F2P Units – 7500 Points

F2P units = no 5* gacha units

Bad type weaknesses for F2P Friendly runs, had to pull out some strange units.

1) Lorelei (0:00)
2) Bruno (2:29)
3) Agatha (7:34)
4) Lance (9:49)
5) Blue (12:17)

1) Lorelei – Serperior (2/5 6EX), Roserade, Probopass (4*)
Roserade is basically a mediocre grass striker, but at least it has Dire Hit. Serperior makes this team possible with its EX Boost. Probopass patches up some of the accuracy drops and helps with speed, but most importantly buys you 1 turn with Wide Guard. There’s a lot that could go wrong in this battle: Leaf Storm miss, no MP refresh, Lapras multiple surf, etc. It would be much easier if I had Dauntless on Roserade, but I’m not wasting my cookies on that right now.

Grids: Serperior goes for MP refresh and HP/Defense nodes.
Parameters: Give them mostly offensive buffs, our target is to take out middle before second sync.

2) Bruno – Crobat (3/5), Ariados, Starmie (3/5, 5*)
The special defense buffs are not completely useless since they occasionally use special moves. Basically this one is all about MP Refresh and Ridicure RNG. If you get above average RNG, you should win.

Grids: Starmie goes for MP Refresh and Friendly Care, with Ridicure.
Parameters: Toxic stalling, so give them all HP and defense.

3) Agatha – Empoleon (3/5 5*), Pelipper, Lunatone (4*)
Everything had to line up for this one, and this is probably one of the most interesting clears I’ve done. Non type weakness striking in master mode is usually a brick wall, but the stage parameter (minus special defense) combined with Agatha’s trainer move makes it possible. Of course it also helps that my Barry is 5 stars with CS2. The battle doesn’t have as much RNG as you might expect. Sure, it depends on MP Refresh and sync crit, but as long as you play it out right this is about a 10 percent win rate.

Grids: Barry goes for MP Refresh and Ramp Up, with Inertia, Ramming Speed, and Bubblebeam power.
Parameters: Give them mostly offensive buffs.

4) Lance – Solgaleo (5/5 20/20), Swanna (3/5 20/20 5*), Medicham
I’ve already used this team in the video I uploaded yesterday, no need to go over it again. This was probably the easiest one this week.

Grids: Swanna goes for the usual healing stuff.
Parameters: Give them mostly offensive buffs

5) Blue – Masquerain (3/5), Seviper, Egg Nidoqueen
This run makes this battle look easy, but in reality there is quite a bit of luck involved. First, you absolutely need MP Refreshes at the start to get +6 Sp. Def, and then you want 1 more after the gradual healing disappears. Then, you want at least decent poison luck at the start. Finally, hope he uses Air Cutter more than Hurricane, since Masquerain will be alive at the end, and we want enough HP to survive the sides. This was an annoying one to record for sure.

Grids: Masquerain goes for double MP refresh, First Aid, Pokey Trap, and HP nodes.
Parameters: give them all the HP buffs and defense buffs
