Legendary Arena Very Hard – Part 3
3v1 Cresselia with Almost F2P team Liepard-Xerneas-Swanna team
Finally Grimsley and Liepard gets to really Shine! Cresselia is fudging annoying, keep thunder waving and increasing its own evasiveness, making itself almost untouchable. Thank God not only Grimsley can steal away all the buff, Grimsley’s passive Lithe is also immune to paralyse.
Prerequisite – Make sure Grimsley has Unbending Lucky Skill, if not you will need Skyla to MP refresh Take Flight 4 times to gain back +6 Def for Liepard lol. Xerneas is encouraged to have Vigilance lucky skill for better sustainability. Also, don’t follow my Xerneas grid, make sure u cover Healing Hand in your grids. Of course for Swanna make sure to have at least 3/5 move level for higher chance to prompt potion MP refresh.
Strategy in nutshell:
1st Bar – Cresselia’s bulkiest stage, make sure to get MP refresh for Swanna’s take flight. First sync by Xerneas so that u will end up +6 Def, +6 Sp Def, +6 Speed and +6 Sp attack. Physical attack will be boosted gradually by Xerneas passive. Grimsley to sync until the end of the battle Use Grimsley’s Snatch whenever Cresselia uses Double Team and Calm Mind. Try not to use Xerneas TWIV until Grimsley HP falls below half. Keep using Night Slash and Horn Leech until 1st bar is down. Try to reserve Skyla’s potion for 2nd bar.
2nd Bar – Cresselia’s physical defense suddenly increased significantly; while its sp defense has dropped. At this point, spam Dark Pulse and Moonblast, you may get lucky for getting Cresselia to flinch. Use Horn Leech accordingly if you find Xerneas HP relatively low. Continue to spam Dark Pulse, Moonblast and sync by Grimsley until 2nd bar is down. Use Potion if needed.
3rd Bar – Continue to spam dark pulse and Moon Blast for damages. If you are facing move gauge management issue like me in the video, just solely spam dark pulse until Cresselia out of breath.
