* **pokémon** turned **25 years old** this weekend! as part of the celebration, we got two brand-new game announcements: **pokémon brilliant diamond and pokémon shining pearl**, remakes of pokémon diamond and pearl versions coming in late 2021, and **pokémon legends: arceus**, an open-world rpg coming in early 2022! what are you looking forward to most about these games? what are some of your favorite memories from pokémon’s 25 years? what draws you most to the series?
* that wasn’t the only anniversary this past week—the **nintendo 3ds** also turned **10 years old**! what were some of your all-time favorite games for the system? any favorite home themes, console designs? what did you love most about the system?
