The last week of Unova Champion Stadium. Next week we will have the Kanto Elite Four again. Started off with Zebstrika for electric weakness and Emboar for fire weakness. 2 of these sync pairs doesn’t get as much love as they should. If only they have some sort of recoil removal tile on their sync grid… Then we move on to the earth-weak Shauntal. Shauntal is consistently a problem for 4 weeks straight. Just goes to show how good Chandelure is as a pokemon that DeNA can come up with so many ways to make it a challenging battle for us. For Marshal, I went in with a dual flying type striker setup with Pidgeot and Braviary. Both pretty self sufficient and Braviary doesn’t consume much gauge. The only support they need is health support and Comfey aces that department. Lycanroc dispatches Alder pretty well with Palossand providing the sand and Swanna providing speed boost. I was surprised when Hyper Beam didn’t KO Swanna. Just goes to show how great Swanna is as a sync pair.
With that, I send off the Unova Elite Four… until their rerun at least. I’m really gonna miss these battle themes.
