This duo of games isn’t doing much to push the franchise forward, but it’s a very worthwhile adventure nonetheless. A great place to start for newcomers and a fascinating alternate story for fans, should you give this a shot? The answer is elementary.

The adaptation to a desktop platform and a single screen has been done efficiently and without losing any characteristic feature of the franchise. Highly recommended to those who love visual novels and research, totally discouraged for those who do not know how to defend themselves well in English or Japanese.
