Nintendo Switch

Skull & Co. released a new Jumpgate dock for the OLED switch (link included). No fix is possible for the existing Jumpgate.

Skull & Co. released, [for preorder](https://skullnco.com/collections/top-selling/products/jumpgate-for-nintendo-switch), a new Jumpgate dock for the OLED switch. As I have one of the OG Jumpgates, I wanted to know if they had finally made a firmware update that’ll allow those to work on the OLED Switch. Here’s what I got in reply after I reached out:

Hi treehumper83
Thanks for reaching out.
The old Jumpgate dock can output 1080p with the OLED but only on some TV’s, and not on monitors. There is no update to solve this monitor issue as it’s an HDMI chip issue.
We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for your support and have a good day.

tl;dr- no, there’s no fix that Skull & Co. has deemed possible for existing Jumpgates that will allow them to work correctly with the OLED Switch. Mine just doesn’t output at all to any of my TV’s so I have no pressing need to ask which TV’s Skull & Co. has found as viable.

Fortunately, the new Jumpgate is on sale. Take my money… again…
