Just finished this wonderful game and it is one of my favourite games on Switch, let alone platformers. 9/10 for me. It’s a perfect continuation of Yoshi’s Island that is full of charm and fun!

Yes, the music is repetitive and that is the one big common criticism, but the rest is spectacular:
* The art style is beautiful, looks great plays great at a steady 60FPS, it has its own character
* The developers have put all of their love in this and it shows (the different worlds are so well detailed and varied)- Ninjarama is my favourite, think Shy Guys running at you with knives or throwing shurikens!
* It takes mechanics that we all know and love and elevates them to perfection (egg throwing has never been so smooth).
* It’s easy enough for everyone to enjoy (platformers don’t all need to be crazy tough), but if you are a completionist it will take you more time and effort and you are rewarded
* Yoshi is just the cutest!
I highly recommend it, and I wish people would stop sleeping on this gem. I can’t wait to see what the next instalment brings!
