Not sure if this is against the rules to post, but I played a game this weekend that I hadn’t heard much about and thought I’d share because it was a blast.
I was looking for a fun local multiplayer game to play this weekend with my kids, and we started playing [Boomerang Fu](https://www.boomerangfu.com/). Something we’d purchased awhile back but never really got into. The closest thing I can compare it to in how it feels is how I used to feel playing Bomberman 64 battle mode with my friends. Just utter joy and chaos.
This game had us laughing hard, jumping up and down in front of the TV, and shouting in the living room. I must have said “Ok ONE last match” about 12 times in a row.
The art is adorable, the entire concept is hilarious, it’s simple to learn and just controls really, really well. It’s also really funny seeing your pinapple or burger character be sliced in half, squashed, or exploded.
There’s a mode that’s basically ‘keep away’ where you just have to fight for possession of a golden boomerang and hold onto it for a set amount of time that had us rolling.
