I’m just sure that Nintendo is going to add the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack at the end of tomorrow Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct, just like they did with the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion back in April when they revealed the release date for Splatoon 3.

In retrospect, the three titles to have DLC included with the Expansion Pack so far (Animal Crossing New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 3) have each sold more than 10 million copies, so their attach rate more than anything created the impact that justified this move. The Xenoblade franchise at this time isn’t there yet for Torna on Expansion Pack to be momentous enough to drive substantial paid subscriptions and purchases of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
