Red + Gladion is a core I’ve used many times, and it’s relevant here since Red also serves as the status inducer. My go-to third member for this is Tech Lickitung, but I opted for Tech Sandshrew since Red already has Defense debuffs.

Blue of course makes short work of this stage, so I got away with tanking with an eggmon. I also delayed his sync until I used up all four flinches, and Mina was more than happy to sync in his place to take advantage of Pecking Order.

By far the funniest clear I’ve had the pleasure of recording. Leaf’s Tackle Staggering only has a 30% flinch rate while Grimsley’s Dark Pulse is only 20%, but that turned out to be enough for this stage. Egg Hitmonlee took advantage of the omni-debuffs for the boosted Hi Jump Kicks.

I’ve seen all the impressive solo clears on Tapu Bulu and Entei using SS Lyra, but I found myself picking her for Uxie’s stage since there aren’t a lot of sync pairs that can counter Acute Senses. Because of the nature of her passive though, I had to wait until the second half of Bar 1 before using Grassy Glide. SS Leaf tanks well enough even with the Psychic weakness thanks to all the healing, while Shauntal deals good-enough damage.

Skyla carries any striker for this stage, and I found myself going for Event Blue and Roxie as they’re both very gauge-hungry. I did get Sync Freebie from Blue’s grid though to help with the gauge even more. I originally wanted to use him as an Attack debuffer, but he doesn’t have the bulk to debuff long-term.

Really wanted to do a striker SS Blue clear for this one, but I settled for a dual-strike + main tank role instead. Marshal doesn’t have any sync multipliers so he could give them up to Blue, and thanks to Drain Punch, Chansey’s Potions can go to topping up Blue instead.

I feel like I overprepared for this team as Evelyn is bulky enough to not necessitate a fully set up sync. Could’ve easily replaced Blaine with an eggmon but eh, it is what it is. Did you know SS Red dealt good damage?
