The game is a spiritual successor to the Boku no Natsuyasumi-games, and is the first game in the “series” to ever get localized!
I’ve played a bit of the japanese version before the localization was announced, and it’s filled with cute and nostalgic japanese summer-vibes!
Please pick this game up if you are even the slightest interested in that classic, rural, japanese sleepy town-aesthetic and feel. We need this game to do well if we’re hoping to see another one of these games!
