    Honestly everything seems better. The game loads a lot faster and the starting menus seem a lot more intuitive. The graphics got quite the upgrade and we have access to all DLC (if you pay). And the most surprising part is it was delivered by Grove Street Games of all studios. (They did the famous, for all the wrong reasons, GTA definitive ports). So far I’ve been happily impressed

    Hi mate could you tell me the size of the update? Tempted to pick it upwhile it’s on sale and eshop currently says the game is 11.7gb

    I had a good laugh when Digital Foundry first reviewed the Switch port. Felt very comedic from a serious channel.

    it is a completely redone version of the game made by a different dev team. (original port house was shitcanned)

    Gee, love how last couple of weeks ago I posted the game being on sale for $20, and trying to be optimistic and was torn to shreds and people talking to me like I was stupid and naive.

    Especially after bringing up the update overhaul.

    So I watched the stream that was just posted here….and honestly the pop in was still super noticeable. Which, as a handheld only player scares me. I bought this game at launch……almost threw up after 20 mins and promptly returned it. Later ( can’t remember how long after launch ) it got a sizeable update so I bought it again. Still ran like a drunk, crippled grandmother. My question is…..does it finally run in handheld without causing stroke?

    they have been using that same headline on the pc version for what feels like 10 years.

    and it still ran bad afterwards.

    They should have also added a new “Dinosaur Discovery” mode which is meant to be a sort of casual “edutainment” game for kids. They were talking about that being a new feature for the Switch version that would be added along with the update.

    New to the game but it looks interesting as long as the performance holds up – do we have to buy that $40 version on the Nintendo store linked for all the goodies??

    Been following this game since it’s launch on the switch. It really intrigued me. But with the consistent bad reviews, price never lowering I’ve always given it a miss. But for £17 Eshop sale and update I’m gonna take the plunge.
