    I’m in the suburbs and even I’m annoyed by the limited Pokémon/stops nearby. So this is awesome news for the rural players!

    Same! I usually only get 1 spawn when i open the app and I thought there was an event when 9 mons spawned

    this is literally how my bfs parents house is. he lives in the middle of nowhere and has had a nest on his house since the game came out

    I did not have a pokemom on my RADAR for the first 3km from my house. Today I have 13 spawns in my house and a bunch of pokemon along my road! Best update ever!

    I’m scared they’ll see this post and ruin it because Niantic loves destroying anything positive. I love the idea that Pokémon can be found ANYWHERE – not just where there’s commerce and advertising money to be made. In the trees, by the pond, in the desert, on the ocean, all teeming with life…

    I would love to see there being random caches of useful items that we discover through walking in nature, similar to how we find Pokéballs with items on routes in the main games, to compensate for the lack of Pokéstops as well. But it makes me really happy to see SOMETHING good finally happening for us that don’t have the luxury of living in the metropole

    I’m in the same situation, but it feels too good to be true, like knowing niantic it’s just gonna be a rug pull and they’ll decide we’re having too much fun so revert it.

    Omg SAME! I opened the app last night and screenshotted because I’ve never seen so many Pokémon outside my house before lol, but then I figured it was probably the new changes. So happy for everyone who’s never experienced this before like me!!

    I have to walk down my driveway to get encounters which is annoying to me since we have a long driveway, and I often don’t have time to. Super happy when I went in the app and could catch Pokémon from inside my house without having to go into the cold, too bad this wasn’t a thing yet when I had covid

    I’ve also seen a difference in amount of Pokémon appearance as well. I’m not as rural as you are but still have to hike for gyms and stops. Son and I have routine lol. We will walk one day to spin etc collect pokeballs whatnot and following day catch. Rinse and repeat cycle. I’m glad it helped you out as well with amount of mons popping up etc. best of luck.
