Okay so this is just speculation for the golden stop event, but so far what I’ve gathered is this. The numbers are estimates from my time playing after the dratini event. Please let me know if you have any better info.
Golden stops drop an increased number of items.
There’s roughly a 1/15 chance to get a coin.
A person can collect up to 100 coins.
Stops will switch between blue and gold.
The lighter the gold on the stop the longer it will stay gold, vise versa, the darker the gold the less time there is before it switches back to blue.
There’s no indication on when all the stops will revert back to blue, but notable dates are November 9th (the newest event for Pogo) and November 18th (the release of gen 9, which the Pokémon is from)

Rumor is that the Pokémon is similar to Zygard in regards that there will be unlockable stages based on the number of coins (out of 100) that a player has
