    IIRC you have to wait for the in game full moon event to start

    The moon might be rising in your overworld. Check the horizon. Mine is still rising.

    I had the same, just restart the app and you should be good to go

    No close the game and reload it, that’s what helped me

    I had to do an update, only restarting did not work for me.

    You have to make it a point to just restart your app whenever a new event starts. Flushed out all the bullshit.

    Issue for me was having to wait till the in app changed to night time – required for it to evolve.

    It’s Niantic… restart your app. They never considered the possibility that someone might already have their app open when the event started.

    Yo! So glad I saw this! I wasn’t paying attention since I already had a 4* Ursaring. But now it’s 4* Ursaluna tackle/HH, >cp3200, and goes to 3854 before XL?! I’ll allow it!

    I’m thinking the issue stems from the game being open when community day started and Ursaluna was debuted.

    This happened to my friend, she just restarted her game and it was fixed.

    I tried restarting the app multiple times and sometimes the option was there, sometimes not. And when it was there, it would just come up with ‘error’ whenever I tried to evolve. Seems like Niantic didn’t do enough testing on this – yet another fail on their part. Guess I wait now until the next full moon and hope they’ve fixed it by then.
