Everytime i use my incense i see a moltes(the big red pheonix) i throw 1 pokeball(the strongest) and use orange berry, and curveball. After the 1st throw it pops out and flees. This has been every time (3)

Where you in a moving vehicle? Moving at too high a speed triggers a no-catch function to stop drivers using the game, that overrides guaranteed catches from shadow or shiny legendarias

My sympathies. I had the same thing happen over the summer. Posters here suggested reaching out to Niantic help, but they basically said “too bad, so sad” and did nothing.

I’ve found that catching shadow Pokemon while in a moving vehicle is very difficult. Was on a road trip during a past Rocket balloon event and missed every catch while on the freeway. Only time I managed to catch was when we stopped for gas, to pick up a hitch hiker, take a tinkle break or dispose of the body.

If it makes you feel any better I just got mine and it’s 58% which matches my other 58% shadow mewtwo 🤦🏻♂️

This made me laugh out loud – not *at* you, but just like a … of course that would happen kind of thing! I’ve learned when in the car, if something great pops up to immediately pull over before doing anything else – that really sucks!

My account is bug and I’m not receiving the normal rocket radar, I just defeat team rocket grunts but it doesn’t add 1/6, 2/6, 3/6 until I get the rocket radar, so I’m not able to fight team rocket leaders.
How do I fix that? For the love of lord
