Wow, it certainly wears its inspiration on its sleeve. I like it though! My gripe with the usual Animal Crossing-likes is with the player character models usually looking very uncanny, but this one nails it and combines it with some really pretty looking hairstyles and outfits. New Horizons had me left wanting, so I’m hoping this game will scratch that itch, even if it won’t surpass AC. I’m very much excited for this now. Very happy to hear a western release is already confirmed too

In legitimately excited for this. I had a lot of fun with Pretty Princess Party despite its simplicity. It was just so freaking adorable and the character customization had a lot to it. I stopped playing once I 100%ed it. Seeing it get a fleshed out sequel with a coat of Animal Crossing paint gets me hyped. Might even be a sleeper hit if it’s done well enough.
