I recently found this game out of nowhere and after seeing a trailer, i was immediately enamored with the visuals, music and smooth gameplay.
I tried the demo, and was hooked, bought the game right after.
Lunistice is a linear platformer reminiscent of the ps1 era with 32 bit visuals, with gameplay similar to Mario galaxy and the momentum of sonic the hedgehog, starring a tanuki girl named Hana, the game is broken into several themed levels with each level having several hidden paths containing letters, if you collect all the letters you’ll unlock reports telling you the game’s plot via diary entries, finding about the true nature of the game world and the lunistice.
The game controls are very smooth and snappy. Hana has a very simple control style with a double jump and an attack that can serve as a triple jump; you also unlock other characters from other indie games with their own moveset after beating the game.
That game can be very challenging at times, but lives are infinite and checkpoints are plentiful, so the game isn’t very punishing, if you want more challenge, you get graded on lives lost and cranes collected, alongside a timer for speedrunners, the ranks are rewarded separately so you can get a crane S rank with a no death rank in another run.
This game can be beaten in a couple of hours, but it’s a very sweet experience for the whole duration, and the best part is that the game is a complete steal at only 4.99!
Anyway, i highly recommend this game and hope more people play it, especially for its low price.
I’ll leave the [trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQTkUIKj3tw) here if anyone’s interested.
And yes, the title is a pun.

I bought it immediately after trying the demo. It really is fantastic!
Thank you for reminding me this exists!
i picked it up after seeing AntDude tweet about it, its really good.
Just made my own post lol!
This game is an amazing find!!
Got it on SteamDeck. It’s fantastic and HIGHLY recommended.
It’s good but gets repetitive despite the short length. Controls smoothly and runs like a dream on Switch. However, your moveset is very simple and the platforming ends up feeling rather one note. Level design lacks variety as it relies too heavily on “grind rails”, which isn’t as well implemented as they are in the Sonic games because switching between rails isn’t really a thing, in favor of the Tony Hawk esque balancing mechanics.
How much content is there and how much is it? Looks interesting enough but just wanna make sure it’s enough bang for my buck
Buy Injustice, got it
> And yes, the title is a pun.
