It’s disappointing to see how little faith Nintendo has in its games and customers.

Limiting the number of times you can play an already limited number of modes/characters is just turning the screws on potential buyers.

This mindset is the same that has prevented them from offering any kind of refund policy and the more it informs their business decisions the more hesitant I am to spend money in their ecosystem.

  2. Good, let’s hope this prevents more people from being scammed by buying this game with barely any content

I liked the game tbh, I did all the tourneys to learn how to play, then I jumped into online and had a great time. The only downside I can tell is that playing solo you could be matched with a duo and the difference is notorious. It’s harder to play 1v2 but not impossible to win.

    Oh…
    Anyway…
Gimme eshop black friday deals already!

Feels like you get a demo when you buy the game at full price too!

No reason for anyone else to buy the full game then just playing the demo is basically the full games content.

This is by far the worst nintendo sports game with no content whatsoever, I dropped the game after an hour.

Can maybe salvage a little longer with friends but just get an emulator and play one of the good games instead.

This game really is bad. They had the blueprints of a good Mario soccer game already! They made a great game… twice! What happened?

Might as well let people see that the game has fuck all in it for free so they don’t have to waste their money to find it out 🙂

such a god damn disappointment. have a downvote for promoting this.

Must’ve soldi few copies, uh? And it hasn’t been on sale so far…

  11. Man, I paid about $11 for this game and I still feel scammed. The fact that there’s no true 4v4 online with 8 individual Switch’s just kills it for me (and they were misleading us about that). I ended up switching over to Rocket League since my friends play it and it’s free.

Why not just unlock everything for a 30 minute demo? Goofy decision.

They could have just re sold the Wii version

Love that Nintendo is continuing the trend of releasing demos 6 months after the game releases

Don’t get why y’all are hating so hard. It’s definitely not jam packed with content but the mechanics are great and online is really competitive

Regarding all the comments about lack of content, I’m curious what people want from a Mario soccer game? I have the game so I understand that there is not much to do outside of online play once you’ve beat all the cups. I played Charged and enjoyed that tournament and enemy difficulty much more however it was mostly the same package. The gear customization is actually quite deep and the club customization, even if it’s just to use in solo play is kind of cute. Maybe I’m not creative enough but I can’t think of many things that they could add to satisfy people. Would love to hear what people are thinking when they say the game doesn’t have content!

This game was really fun for an hour or two. I imagine if you haven’t bought the game yet you could save yourself $60 and just play the demo. There really isn’t much content here, not enough for a full priced game anyway. This one really didn’t live up to Nintendo’s standards.

  18. Not enough content, but fun nonetheless and great playing with the family in local coop.

  19. nekosama15

I’ll buy it when it’s being sold for 29.99

  20. This game is very similar to Mario golf. Not a lot of content for single player but very fun with friends.
