After the “Nintendo” reply which was full of contradictions that SWT were happy to debunk with Written Receipts, and Panda’s nothing of substance response statement its to be expected.
Feigning ignorance, deflecting the blame on the CEO of their company and pretending they are not associated with him, and then going “Feel bad for us! Think of the people’s hard work!” when their CEO did the exact same thing to SWT on a much larger scale.

Maybe we cant directly punish Nintendo for they unfairly decisions, but it is proven with this, that anyone outside nintendo, will suffer the punishment they deserve for doing something as shady as panda did

So proud for all the players and staff members quitting Panda. And so ashamed by all the “devil’s advocates” in this thread … Like if Nintendo wouldn’t sue SWT asses if they were lying or modifying their statements in a public manner.
Fact is that Panda is not playing fair and they want all the cake for themselves. This is such a low blow for the Smash community but i believe, just like they have done in the past, they will live on despite Nintendo.

If anyone does care about supporting the smash scene still. Ludwig is putting on a one day tournament with a stacked roster of players.
Coincidentally, this is being run on December 18th. And all donations made during the event are doing towards supporting the hardworking people for the SWT that was just cancelled.
So maybe there will be some viewership issues with the Panda event….

I hope we all realize how big of a decision it is to leave. It’s the right choice, but there isn’t a long line of Org opportunities in the fighting game scene. It will hurt their income quite a bit.
