    title but the original post translates the name to Solitaire Horse: Ride On! in Japanese.

    If you missed out on this on the 3DS, try it! It’s charming and engaging, and also pretty chill. Game Freak is kind of in the shit right now for good reason, but this is an example of them at their best.

    Awesome – I pretty much only play games nowadays that focus on condensed gameplay loops (short match-based games, rogue-likes, etc.), so I’m very familiar with the genre. It is almost baffling how incredibly addictive Pocket Card Jockey is for a game with such simple mechanics. It feels so odd to say that this spartan and goofy game managed to accomplish such satisfying goals that I can honestly say I’ve not experienced since the 3DS version.

    Oh god please no… I was ridiculously addicted to this fucking game and it’s just pretty and fun and stupid in the right ways…

    I have way too many responsibilities now for a sequel to happen 🙁

    Oh please be a real actual sequel, Pocket Card Jockey was such an excellent little timewaster, easily one of the best games Game Freak has put out in the last decade. Just a perfect combination of silly, simple, addictive and fun, I really hope we’ll get to revisit it soon.

    I’d be ok with some of the stylus/touch aspects of the game being dropped in a sequel for the Switch, but otherwise that game was fantastic and so much fun

    I had a lot of fun with the first game, but I’m not sure I ever realized it was Game Freak.

    Meh, not a fan of RNG determining if I get to win or not. The video game equivalent of a claw machine.

    This explains why SV was a bit shit.

    The reason Pokemon XZ and YZ didn’t happen, was because Gamefreak wasted time making these Randi other titles.

    This sequel has probably been in development for awhile so it’s no wonder Pokemon SV had so many bugs. They split their staff into thirds. (Legends Arceus, Scarlet/Violet and this)
