Oh wow. This’ll be the first time these characters have been playable in a mainline game for around 16 years.
Hope they’re testing the waters to go all in on this for the next game.

What’s so sad to see is how this is all free DLC ontop of a game that already saw a nice discount a week after launch, yet ppl on this twitter thread were complaining and knocking the game as being “unfinished” bro, it’s free dlc ontop of a discounted game. Just deal with it and take it. It’s not like they are charging money to “finish” the game

Does the switch version run a lot worse than the other versions on other consoles/pc? Thinking about picking this up, but that seems to always be the case with games like this that are across many consoles (non exclusive)

I like the other playable characters idea though.
I havent played the game yet and was surprised to see it has a content roadmap. This screams unfinished to me. Update 1 and 2 seem like things that should be in day 1. Update 3 seems more DLC like.

This game still just look and feel like an asset swap from UE 5? Super unimpressed with initial trailers.
Loved this game. Platinumed it on PS5, so I’m glad to see some unexpected DLC. The challenges would solve one of my bigger complaints about the game, which is that it’s a little too easy. I’m hoping the jukebox has some classic Sonic music.

Neat. Hopefully not too long between DLCs. I already 100% each map, and really only have Cyber Space zones to S Rank. New/more story would be great. I felt the game kind of dropped the ball with Sage there at the end (well… kind of :p)

He could be the star of a title that places more emphasis on exploration, combat and puzzle solving. We could dive into the depths of Angel Island and give him a skill tree based on a player’s preferred style of gameplay!
