What a god damn horrible mess of a website best buy has. I can hardly figure out how to navigate the product / checkout pages. It’s telling me it’s not available for pickup when I try to checkout, even though I have shipping selected. Bummer. If anyone knows what I’m doing wrong please let me know.

Don’t buy this. Wry badly adapted and very difficult to control. I was unable to finish this game as usability is horrible.

  3. HerbertGoon

Pogs. Reminds me i haven’t finished it yet

And free Tech Decals… oh momma.
    (What are tech decals?)

I will wait to play it on steam at a better price and performance.

I finally bit the bullet over the weekend and paid 40 at target, after trying desperately to find ir for 30. You’re welcome everyone

  7. Walmart still might be selling theirs for only $25, and I bought it in the beginning of November (I think the 5th)

Still too expensive… just kidding I bought for $60 and now I’m mad 😭

Love this game, more than I was expecting. BotW was good, but it left me wanting another traditional Zelda formula game that I hadn’t already played a million times. I particularly like the motion controlled sword mechanism, which I was fully expecting to hate.

This should’ve been its price from the beginning…

Can anyone tell me why they think it’s better than BOTW or are you all just trolls? I’d consider getting it but curious to hear opinions

Only in a store in a country I’m not in.

I played this game earlier this year fully expecting to get annoyed at all the backtracking I heard about.

And then I played it and realized I must have a different definition of backtracking because the game barely had any at all.

To be clear, you do visit the same areas multiple times. But each time, the layouts and challenges are drastically different. There’s also fast travel points all over, so you rarely need to repeat the same traversal challenges over and over again like you do in other games.

Maybe a hot take, but I thought Breath of the Wild, which is still an excellent game, had way more repetitive gameplay than Skyward Sword. While locations may be different, you do a lot of the same things in each of them.

Meanwhile in Skyward Sword, you do a ton of different things in the same location. Plus, your mastery of the location helps you overcome challenges and makes you look at each map differently than when you first entered it.

So if you’re worried about repetitive gameplay, I honestly think there’s nothing to worry about. There’s one boss that repeats and is annoying, but besides that, I never got annoyed at seeing the same content again (and the ending is incredible).

Got it used for 25, a week after launch. Didn’t wanna support a port like this, way too anticonsumer.

To bad I lost my interest in Zelda after 2

  16. I see Zelda Skyward Sword is on sale. Is it worth it? Is is better or worse than BOTW. I never finished BOTW, should I skip SS and just finish the game I do have? Please advise. Thx.

You’re shitting me, I’ve been having amazing luck, I went to my local game store that wasn’t like chain or anything and someone went in to trade in their Zelda skyward sword joycons that I’ve been wanting so badly, I was this close of purchasing scalpers and resellers for $130 bucks, I only spent 80 and I want to buy skyward sword hd and now it’s on sell

  19. Phenom_Mv3

Nintendo wants you to buy this to prepare for what’s about to come (TOTK) 😉

Walmart has Links awakening and Breath of the Wild for $29 in the US if anyone wants to start a thread about it. I picked both of them up.

    How is this game?

Really random. Does this work on the Lite?
