So I was browsing the older videos of Legend of Zelda BOTW for nostalgia, then I came across a video titled “The Making of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Video – The Beginning” there I saw a concept art for Link of what I assume “THE RIGHT HAND BATTLEGEAR” even the master sword was broken. Now take note this video was published 5 years ago. When I compared it to the trailer for Tears of the kingdom my mind was blown on how the devs and artists worked on this and it is brilliant! I can’t fathom they themselves unintentionally/intentionally shared the concept that will later be released in Tears of the Kingdom!

Amazing! Brilliant! Is all I can say, now I’m more excited to play Tears of the Kingdom and relive the emotions I felt with BOTW or even surpass it.

I had read somewhere that one of the things that kicked of the idea for a botw sequel was that they had way too many ideas for them to fit in a dlc. Its safe to asume that many of them originate from unused ideas for botw itself.

It’s normal in game development (or any creative endeavour) to reuse ideas that were previously left on the cutting room floor. The nature of the creative process is that you generate tons of ideas and then refine them down to the best ones.
I doubt it’s anything intentional as such, probably just held some stuff back that they didn’t have time to implement, or felt didn’t fit what they were going for with the original game. Almost every sequel ever made will probably contain at least a couple of ideas that were brainstormed during the development of the original game.
I thought you were talking about the movie which stars Alicia and Brendon
