i love the chaos of all items but this is an awesome feature for those who really don’t like some
i feel like this will be great for dealing with the eventual character specific items (like Tour has currently) – whether we see those added as DLC or in an MK 9/10

The fact they’re adding little things like this along with the DLC gives me hope that they might add in the All Cup Tour that Double Dash had once they’re done adding courses.
It’d be real dumb, but I’d love to see it happen. It was already a marathon with just 4 cups, so imagine doing that with 24(?) cups.
That’s awesome, if they continue to add in custom features like this, I hope they add the ability to make custom tours/cups. Like, for example, all the rainbow roads

does anyone else feel like they tweaked the AI a bit too? maybe i’ve just lost my edge but i usually smoke the fuck out of the CPUs, even on 200cc, but running through the new courses on 150cc was a little challenging actually

just a friendly reminder that mario kart 8 came out in 2014. imagine going into high school and mario kart hasn’t released a new game since you were in first grade. meanwhile i watched like 5 iterations come out when i was but a poor lad with no money for games.

At this point it feels like the only way a ninth entry could take, is the smash bros ultimate route.

I mean its already kinda happening right now with the new Tracks from older titles. It almost feels like Nintendo is building this version up to be the Ultimate Mario Kart. It just takes a decade.
