    Spewpa’s are 48/89/128.

    That’s why.

    Its a different pokemon with different stats. Cp is a function of the stats and level. The end.

    It’s a cocoon. Same thing happens with other cocoon Pokémon. They don’t move so their cp goes down

    Its supposed to be low cp i think. Like metapod and kakuna

    My understanding this happens with all bugs that have “cocoon” stages. I saw it on a Weedle and found people talking that it happens to Weedle.

    Attack is heavily weighted in calculating cp, and that one evolves into a more defensive pokemon for its middle stage.

    It’s the cocoon stage! Their stats go down during the second evolution

    Because the angle makes his cocoon look like a whole ahh tombstone

    There’s a lot of Pokemon like that. Metapod, kakuna, even vibrava does it which I thought was super weird.
