I really hope it’s Ys V. That one has never officially been released in English, and it’s basically the black sheep of the franchise now. It needs a modern remake like 3 and 4 got.
(Although the original SNES release can be played with a fan translation, if you really want.)

This sounds great! I loved Ys VIII and now consider myself a fan. Picked up Origins and IX and will play them soon, glad to hear more are coming up
