I have 250 hours in ror2 and about 25 minutes in ror1. I just felt completely restricted in the 2d one, and I hated it. Also hopoo games got bought by gearbox whom have a great reputation of fucking everything up, so I’m just gonna skip this one.

I loved the original ROR on PC. Part of the fun for me was the game loop and almost trying to break/overload the game though…

Ugh. Have NO idea why this game is so popular. It’s terrible and difficult and not even fun and there’s no progression unless you’re REALLY good. This is the Dark Souls of roguelites. Hard pass.

God that soundtrack is amazing, idk why but I’ve always found the first one more intriguing than the second so copping this day one

Was hoping for gameplay.
Loved the original 2D one on Steam. The graphics style and 3D shooter playstyle of the sequel didn’t appeal to me.
I will likely play the ever-loving heck out of this, though
Oh yeah, forgot Gearbox bought RoR.
We might get this before the RoR 2 expansion arrives on Switch.
