Worked at an apartment complex as a lifeguard and they had a Bubble Bobble in the rec center that would give a free credit if you hit a million.
Kids would run and find me to play their last man and get them a free credit.
Even bought Bubble 4 Friends to get my fix.

I loved arcade bubble Bobble to bits in the 90s. It was kind of an obsession of mine for a while when I was a kid. Sadly the new one that was released a year or two ago was a total disappointment

I love this game still, played the absolute shit out of the NES version as a teenager with my brother.
I got the gba remake but having to scroll around just to see the whole level was a really stupid design choice on their part.

About 10 years ago my buddy got it for his Xbox 360 and we just sat there one night and finished it. Never done that before!

Bubble Bobble is a nice addition. The two arcade games I want to see most on Switch are Taito’s Crime City and Rastan.

As of December 29th 2022 you can download this gem of a 36 year old platformer in the Arcade Archives version.
Up till now it was only available through Bubble Bobble 4 for the Switch.
