I know it’s a re-release but Super Mario 3D World is absolutely brilliant. I’m probably going to be shot down but it’s the best mainline Mario game on the Switch.

Two games you should definitely add:
1. Mario Odyssey- Game is amazing. Has a bunch to explore and discover. It can be fast-paced or it can be slow, whichever you want. You can spend time admiring each kingdom, looking through every nook and cranny. But, most of the abilities aren’t as fun as doing the moves that you can do as mario so that might be a downside.
2. Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild – This game is perfect for sinking hours into. The game doesn’t rely so heavily on a story perse but it’s deep enough to give you something to achieve while leaving out bits and pieces to let you discover what’s going on while traveling the world. Talking about that, the map is ginormous. No matter what, you’ll have a new place to visit, a new area to look into, a new side quest to finish and a new shrine to look into. Only downside is that replayability is low since the vast world suddenly seems explored to the point it’s lost its luster.
