All I see is a smudged colors when turning on switch after Digitizer replacement?



I was very careful with all pieces why am I seeing this? Is it a LCD issue? A ribbon issue? I handled all the steps carefully to make sure I didn’t damage anything what could be the issue?

    You probably did it wrong, accidentally screwed something up, or there was a different problem in the first place.

    I may be wrong, but the Cable next to the Memory module does not look like it’s plugged in all the way

    UPDATE: can’t edit post but it turns out the ribbion for the display was not all the way connected so now it works. But those colored smudges are still there so it looks like I’ll need to get a new LCD

    Before I upgraded to the OLED I was eyeballing this. It’s a fully laminated screen assembly. Good luck though.
