Hating the hair color of the protagonist in this game. Looks like a 10 year old got to decide what looks cool.

I realise this view will be controversial… as an old school fire emblem fan, I didn’t enjoy the school section and found it tedious. Didn’t finish the game.
Looking forward to this one.

A lot of these changes, specifically to combat, are so great.
It’s also so cool that you can explore battle maps, etc.

Welp, looks like it might finally be time to unwrap and play that copy of 3 Houses I got back in Christmas of 2019.

Thank sweet zombie Jesus the school is out. I watched my friend play 3H (we are both FE fans and had played all up until that point) and it looked miserable so I skipped out on that FE game.
Also, I wasn’t even aware they did away with the weapon triangle at any point.
Engage looks great and I think I’ll end up buying it. In the mean time, I’ve replayed the GBA games at least two times each this last year lol.

I get it. Alear’s hair looks like Joycons. Subtle.

Is it me, or does Engage feel… less intimidating than Three Houses, gameplay and management-wise?
