Oof this is a tough one, probably the second hardest rotation we’ve ever had. I don’t know why they decided to group three of the easier stages in the previous rotation then make this Gauntlet have three of the more difficult ones but ok.
Since this is a much harder set of arenas, I allowed myself to use BP units. And as much as I wanted to avoid the EX and power boosts of the Legendary Adventure units, I couldn’t really go around Ghetsis’s powered up sync nuke outside of not using it, so I made an exception there too. I did refrain from using any event freebies as well as the Lodge units.

Here are short write-ups for each clear. Sync grids are in the description.
Uxie 1: EX Silver / Blaine / Marley
Silver is one of the few strikers that can reliably induce status, which makes him a great pick for Uxie. Coupled with Blaine's interference and extra Sunny Days, it makes for a good sun team. Marley is the tank as she can keep herself healthy with Healing Sun and her trainer moves regen, and Flag Bearer lets her (slowly) boost Silver's Attack. I went with Sacred Fire over Overheat here since I have Weathered Warrior 3 on him, but if you have Dauntless then you can regrid Marley to get Hype Up instead.
(If you have Silver's power boost unlocked then you don't have to get Flag Bearer since Silver can boost his own stats.)
Latias 1: EX Cyrus / Lt. Surge / Cheryl
Cyrus is one of the strongest F2P damage-dealers in the game, and with him being SE for a part of this fight it made sense to bring him here. While he has some sustain options from his grid, I partnered him with Cheryl so that Team Sync Regen can mitigate the recoil from his trainer move and so that her own trainer move can make sure Cyrus is topped up to tank the sure-hit Earthquake in Bar 3. Surge's new grid gives him Trip Up 9 for some reason (he doesn't have any multipliers to take advantage of it which is ???) but it does mean that he can take care of Latias's debuffs on his own.
(If you have Cyrus's EX unlocked then syncing with him earlier is ideal – I just wanted to emulate it not being unlocked which is why I didn't sync with him until the sidemons were KOed.)
Regirock 1: Molayne / Korrina / Hop
Molayne has flinches for Bar 1 and a super-effective nuke for Bars 2 and 3, making him ideal for this fight. Hop gives him crit buffs and is one of the best tanks for this stage, with his Behemoth Bashes doing pretty good damage in the latter parts. Korrina acts as a gauge battery with her high Speed and Vacuum Wave MGR 9, though she does sneak in some Close Combats when she can.
Uxie 2: Whitney / Lucy / BP Surge
Wanted to bring Whitney since she would put Interference Sync 5 to good use in this stage, and while she's self-sufficient and can induce paralysis reliably, I decided to bring BP Surge instead so that she can focus her grid energy on sync multipliers. Lucy is the trap inducer here, though you'll have to be careful with her as she's weak to Uxie's sync move.
Latias 2: EX Ghetsis / Brycen / EX Sycamore
Probably the easiest clear here. Ghetsis has more than enough debuffs for Latias and Glaciate takes care of the sides. Sycamore keeps the gauge up for Ghetsis's Glaciate spam, has Impervious to ignore Mud-Slap, and can contribute to damage with Moonblast later on in the fight. Brycen Hazes away the evasion buffs so that the team doesn't have to worry about missing.
Regirock 2: Wikstrom / Ramos / EX Skyla
Regirock only becomes immune to sleep and flinch from Bar 2 onwards, and even then you have one use of each of them before doing so. Bringing both gives you a way to ignore both of the sure crit Rock Slides. Skyla is of course a fantastic support and she's able to tank well enough despite the Rock weakness thanks to her Potions.
Uxie 3: EX Giovanni / BP Erika / Liza
Shadow Ball spam. BP Erika is one of the few units that can reliably induce both a status condition and a status change, and she has sustain to hold her own. Liza completes the team with her neat combo of buffs as well as the all-important Synchro Healing, which is a lot more impactful in longer clears like this.
(Since I wanted to emulate Giovanni not having a power boost, I didn't sync with him to lock myself out of mega evolution. I think syncing with him is more optimal here for the faster clear, but that's also why I paired him with Liza so that the syncs healed the team instead.)
Latias 3: Iris / Oak / Misty
Unfortuitous 9 lets Oak debuff Latias like there's no tomorrow, and Swift also gives you a surefire way to get rid of those evasion buffs in Bar 2 (assuming you don't already get evasion debuffs beforehand). Iris makes short work of Flygon so that Misty doesn't have to worry about physical attacks, and in turn Misty gives Iris healing so that she can tank Bar 3 well. Make sure you reset until you proc Endurance on Iris so that you don't have to worry about the Icy Wind on Bar 3.
Regirock 3: Solgaleo / Acerola / Roxanne
There's a case for bringing Solgaleo to any of these three arenas since the innate Piercing Blows of Sunsteel Strike lets you bypass the restrictive enemy passives, but I went with bringing it in the super-effective stage instead since I didn't want to deal with Iron Defense. Acerola provided flinches for Bar 1 as well as sand to give Roxanne some healing, whose Wide Guard was also helpful in blocking a Rock Slide.
Uxie 4: Tate / Viola / BP Clemont
Same idea as Whitney here, with Tate taking advantage of Viola's trap with Interference Sync 5 and Foul Fighting 9. His grid also makes him self-sufficient offensively, but since he lacks any form of sustain, I brought BP Clemont along for the defensive buffs as well as Screech to hasten the clear. I initially thought of using Synchro Healing here but I figured I'd just let Tate take the syncs instead.
Latias 4: Koga / Janine / BP Janine
Double Janine shenanigans with her father. Venom Drench is a great tool to counter Latias, but it does mean that you have to poison all of the opponents before Latias uses Safeguard. Base Janine's new grid also gives her Discombobulate 2 on Cross Poison for even more debuffs as well as Hit and Heal on her trainer move for better sustain. Koga takes advantage of the poison to boost his sync, and he also contributes to the debuffs with Venoshock Mind Games 9.
Regirock 4: BP Sophocles / Agatha / BP Morty
Another sleep + flinch clear, though BP Sophocles being off-type means that this isn't as seamless as the Wikstrom clear. BP Morty does have Potions to keep everyone topped up though, while Agatha acted as a sleeper and a gauge battery at the same time. I gridded Headstrong on Sophocles in case Regirock synced in Bar 2, which would've removed Attack buffs.
Good luck with ur runs!
This one’s gonna be hard, but I’m gonna do what I can. Shooting for 40-50 runs! Good luck, everyone!
I always wait for your videos before starting my runs !! <3
Thank you for this! I'm going to put these tactics to good use
This is the first legendary where I try to use one egg pair for each battle
So far I have done 6 battles and am struggling to reach 12
Bro how to take latios he attack with mud slap and my Pokemon lower 1 aqurassy then my Pokemon miss there shots
did they change uxies gimmick? i always though sync ignored the dam reduction
I swear to God I've never seen Molayne crit his first sync move
I can't believe you looked at the pool of f2p strikers for uxie and were like "yeah, tate"
helena in shambles
Who do you think is the hardest?
Janine, Koga, Janine is literally the best team ever (at least until Atticus comes, or Beni/Wally with Sneasler).
Thanks for always making these so fast! I kinda forgot to start making clears earlier this month, so this’ll definitely be a great help lol
How is your cheren's blissey able to lower the SpD with hyper voice?
I've tried the first team (my Arcanine is also 5 stars) for 2 days and it never worked, so I guess it's a fake video.
Been following the guide and so far the only off thing was the grids provided for Roxanne in Regirock fight 3 where you don't grid for Soothing Sand 1 and instead go up to Wide Guard: MP Refresh 2. Axed off the Wide Guard MP refresh and gridded out for Soothing Sand 1 and Sands of Time 1 to smooth things out. Honestly I probably should have gone for Sand Shelter instead of SoT 1 but I managed a win anyway.
Not an error but I decided to grid Iris for Carry On 1 instead of grabbing the two extra Outrage base power damage boosts. Dunno if that was more efficient but I went for it. Also for the Iris fight you can get Swift: Power +5 with the leftover energy for Mew.
Still making my way through your guide but I'll make note of anything else I feel is worth talking about in replies to this comment.
How is it that Latias' Zen Headbutt only does 280 dmg to Blissey? It does 560-600 to mine
