It’s worth noting that it’s evolution as a shadow is among the best ground type raid attackers in the game, especially if you lack shadow mamoswine.

If you want to use it as an attacker shadow gol is a top tier ground type. If you just want a nerfed dex entry then purifying will make it a hundo but no longer worth using as an attacker over the alternatives

Purify will give you a hundo. There is no variation in what stats you get upon purifying, it’s +2 in all IVs. 14/13/14 will become 15/15/15 (max).
If you intend on actually powering it up, fine you can keep as a shadow. But honestly it’s probably not the best use of resources for a ground attacker. So I wouldn’t sweat it. But traditionally the strategy is you might as well just keep as is so you have the option of using it or purifying it later on as you see an actual need.

I believe in shadow Mamoswine superiority, because it being the best ground and Ice attacker.
If you don’t have a Mamo army, use it as a shadow.
But if you do, nothing speaks against it adding it to your hundo collection.

I think I had the same exact stats! Purified it. I love hundos and I love ghosts.
Though everyone who says 2nd best raid attacker is right, I’m not gonna invest in that.

For future reference, when purifying, every stat goes up by 2. As long as it’s stats are at least 13/13/13 it’s a hundo purified, your golett here is a 14/13/14 for reference

Don’t purify, build it up, if u use it in go battles don’t upgrade past the league u intend, obviously. I hate how some that i powered up can’t fit in lower leagues and it’s not nearly powerful enough for the max league

I’d purify and then evolve. It’s the 2nd best raid attacker for ground, for now. With the rarity of hundos, paired with the fact that the damage difference between a 14/13/13 and a 5/5/5 Shadow Golurk is basically irrelevant in any given raid, it makes no sense to miss the opportunity to check off 2 perfects from your 4* dex.

Two things. You can do it for a perfect but it’s never going to be the Pokémon you want. Even the worst IV shadow is better than a perfect anything minus Mewtwo. However if you power it up all the way that is going to be the Pokémon that you do raids, gyms, and rocket leaders with. I know your waiting on more advice but that’s honestly the best advice that can be given

As a shadow, Golurk is I believe the top ground type attacker (non-mega), at the very least top 3 for sure. I’d keep it as a shadow personally, but I’m sure you’ll make the choice best for yourself, purifying or not 🙂

If you have like 6 others, I would purify for the dex, because you 6 other shadows and IVs don’t make a huge difference in raids
I’ve purified to get a perfect swinub, starly, and charmander for the dex because I had plenty more shadows for raids

Why not both? Keep it shadow for now, as it’s a good ground type. When something that completely outclasses it comes along, purify for the hundo.

Do not purify Pokémon you intend to keep
A shadow Pokémon with 0,0,0 IVs
Is better than a normal/purified Pokémon with 15,15,15 IVs
You should only purify Pokémon if you’re going to transfer them, or if the purified version of that mon is better in GBL
**FAQ:**

Shadow Pokémon deal 20% more damage at the expense of also taking 20% more damage in return. While this might sound like an even trade off, it’s usually not
>> *What if I want to purify a Pokémon so I can mega evolve it?*
If you have another Pokémon of the same species, use that one instead. The 20% damage bonus given to shadow Pokémon, is a bigger difference than a nundo to a hundo. So even if the current Pokémon you use for mega evolution has poor IVs, it’s probably still not worth purifying your shadow one.

Do not. It’s evolution is extremely good and useful for raids. However, if you’re casual and don’t care, yeah go ahead it’s a guaranteed perfect and it’s evo will still be pretty solid

Keep as a shadow. I would only purify shadows only it is/will be a Mega and you don’t have a perfect or if it is a 1000 Stardust one during Rocket events since we seem to need to purify 5 or more every time Giovanni comes out.

Don’t purify it’s a great raider
Shadow Golurk is the #2 ground raid attacker not counting primary Groudon or mega Garchomp since both aren’t in the game ***yet***
Shadow mamoswine will outperform with mudslap/high horsepower.
If I had that Golurk, I would invest because he’s worth it. Plus, I like how Golurk looks. Looks awesome lol
