    >Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden are now available on Nintendo Switch as a bundle or sold separately!

    >Let the clock strike twelve! Get ready to dive into the Midnight Channel, brave the Dark Hour, and awaken your Persona!

3 is like a Choose Your Own Adventure due to cutting out things for that version. If you are on the fence and want to play one of them, go for 4.

Looking forward to jumping into 3, probably much later this year.

I’m a big fan of Atlus’s 3DS work but haven’t touched the main Persona games.

Playing through 5R right now, it’s funny to me how much more hilariously lighthearted Persona 4 is compared to 3 and 5. I was bringing it up with to my friends that almost every character in these games has some sort of traumatic backstory in these games but then you’ve got characters like Yu and Chie who are literally just chill guys with completely normal home lives who happen to go on this adventure. That’s personally why I like 4 the best of the three, it’s extremely comfy.

    Great…

    Physical versions please T_T

  6. Never played a Persona game, where is the best place to start on Switch?

Nice, I’ll be getting Persona 4 next month after payday lol. $20 for a JRPG of this quality is an incredible bargain. Never played a Persona game before, this seems like a good place to start.

How difficult are these on a scale of Persona 5 to SMT 5? I got bored with Royal on hard mode because the battles and making it to the end of a palace in one day were too easy (i dropped it after >!Okumura!<, who was hard at first because i didn’t realize buffs/debuffs affected magic/items), but I love SMT 5 on normal so far (just beat Lahmu) and about half of the story bosses have taken multiple attempts for me to beat. Enchantments are comparable to confidant buffs in how they make the game easier, but glory crystals are more finite than social link time and you also have to fight minibosses (or tougher than normal mobs) just to unlock the perks.

  9. New to the series, just started P5R and it is A LOT so far. Is it worth it to play the other ones? Will I finish P5R before Tears of the Kingdom releases or is this just my life now

Cool, I loved royal and I’m playing golden and I’m loving it too!

For its time my mind was absolutely blown P3P on my PSP as it was a PS2 game port. I know nowadays people won’t be even remotely impressed.

  12. BlunderFunk

fuck this P3P, lazy ass port, just enhance P3Fes, but apparently Atlus is a small indie company so they can’t

I’m 55 hours in Persona 5 Royal and I’m loving it. I really love the relatively large world and the palaces (and the story obviously). I couldn’t get into Persona 3 even though I’ve tried because I didn’t like Tartarus. Does 4 have actual dungeons like 5 or no? I just don’t want to dungeon crawl up randomly generated floors for dozens of hours

  14. Ninjin-No-Ninja

I bought P4 Golden on steam a while back and couldn’t get over the dungeon camera being inverted. It drove me nuts.

Anyone know if this can be changed in the switch version?

  15. The-Pax-Bisonica

I have both of these in the vita, and I can’t recommend them enough

  16. Jazzo44556

It would be nice if there was a physical release some time in the near future.

  17. had my doubts about investing time into Persona 3 Portable

Wanted to play 3/4/Ultimax before Persona 5

But have started another Job and an interview, for a 3rd Job

The MC in a Junior in HighSchool, it takes places in 2009, I was a senior in 09, but that detail sold me on this game

  18. Evilcon21

Persona 4 golden is absolutely amazing. Which I highly suggest any switch user to get.

  19. Alpacaliondingo

Hoping they release a physical eventually

Finished P3P already but absolutely loved the story (Minako’s/fem MC’s); I might just pick it up again.

As for P4G, didn’t finish it last time soo will probably get it.
