    If we add in the arcade games, then there’s also:

    I’m gonna guess Petey. We already got his MKDD partner King Boo, so it’d make sense.

    One of the twitter comments say if Honey Queen comes back, he will riot. Why? Just don’t play the character, it doesn’t have to upset you that much.

    * Petey Piranha
    * Paratroopa
    * King Bob-omb
    * Funky Kong
    * King K. Rool
    * Diddy Kong
    * Kamek
    * Pauline
    * Meowser (literally the only variant I need)
    * and Kirby

    still might be a chance we get more than just Birdo this wave. It was just a sneak peek, we only saw 1 course and 1 character.

    Mario characters I want added:

    Toadsworth

    Interesting. Hoping for finally having Diddy Kong who should’ve been there since the start.

    Should be clarified that they did say from “past Mario Kart games”

    So no newcomers. Though MKT is considered a “past Mario Kart game” for tracks so I’d say the newcomers from MKT are fair game.

    My top picks are Diddy and Funky, but I think Pauline is the most likely of the MKT newcomers.

    If they did more than just a handful, I’d say:

    Diddy, Dixie, Funky, Petey Piranha, Pauline, Kamek, King Bob-Omb. And add a Captain Toad alt for Toad.

    Any of the past drivers who haven’t even been added to Tour yet in almost 3 years seem pretty unlikely (Honey Queen, Wiggler, Paratroopa, ROB)

    People immediately adding their fantasy character picks, it specifically calls out that it’s “returning characters.” Might want to get expectations in check before you put too much hope in seeing Marth and Roy in the game.

    I bet most of them if not all will be from Tour.
