Go to a gym
Haven’t done it since 2016 but if memory serves me correctly, I think you just go to any Gym and click on it, prompting dialogue with the team leaders.
Having caught 39 Pokemon and spun 5 stops, and getting 156xp is impressive
At level 10 it should appear
Is it possible to get to level 50 without choosing a color?

I am currently lvl 36 without a team, I mean, I guess team harmony 😄
A few levels later and will unlock Team Lugia the most auspicious team to control the three birds.
Go to a gym and you will be asked to join
Reminds me you could get a friend to invite you to a raid. The team selection screen should pop up. OP

As I remember, the game does not tell you explicitly to choose a color, but which values you want to choose.
Teams can be joined at level 5 when you visit a gym for the first time.
Started an account for my son.inwas level 29 coming back to the game after years, he started at 0..he is lvl 29 and I’m just now 32…we do everything together..crazy
