I know everyone is going to have to take up a second job to come up with the extra $10 for Zelda, but this one seems specially egregious from Atlus.
(No Nintendo does not tell third party publishers/developers what to price their games)

  2. Adrian_Alucard

Wow, the Atlus tax got affected by inflation too

Atlus’s greediness has been out of control lately, but at least there’s a guarantee this collection will eventually be on sale.

  4. Huge Etrian Odyssey fan, but that’s gonna be a no from me, dawg. Think I’d rather wait for the eventual Etrian Odyssey 3 Untold/Etrian Odyssey VI down the line.

Might pick this up on a steep sale, though.

    No physical though.

Japan’s physical is only going to support Japanese text only too.

If this is the new trend going forward it’s going to be really easy to save money since I won’t be buying anything

  7. Moznomick

Oh wow that is way too pricey for me so I’ll definitely be waiting for a sale on this.

  8. I was super hyped until I saw that it was digital only and at that price tag I definitely will wait for an eventual sale.

It’s atlus, it will have substantial sales in 6 months lol

Just play labyrinth of refrain and labyrinth of galleria ( comes out of the 14th). A more darker etrian

Are the games available individually? If so I’m okay bundling games together like this. If not then I hope this doesn’t become a trend.

Edit: Ok I figured out that they are selling the games individually for $40 each so I don’t understand the issue.

Oof, will be getting this one on PC then during a sale

YESSS i’m going to cry. I spend a week avoiding classes during my freshman year playing 4 on my 3ds, oh the times😢

It’s not too bad if you consider the price of each game if you buy this bundle and too many people seem to forget that even just porting games from a system like the DS to a single screen on the Switch takes a good amount of effort, time, and money. The price of each game individually is a worse deal though.

For me I’m more unsure why they would price these games on the high end in the first place because my assumption was that by remastering the first three games they were hoping to draw in more players for maybe a future sequel but that only works if the price is good enough to not scare off first time players.

Considering they’re selling the individual games for $40 each, this is a good deal. On the other hand, why are they selling what could be inferior versions of freaking DS/3DS games for what they were at full price back in the day!?!?!?!?!?

Atlus games go on sale frequently, so I’ll just wait (and honestly I still have Persona games to play so it’s going to be a while).

Is this a bundle of games or one game? If it’s a bundle it doesn’t seem that bad, but if it’s one game that’s atrocious

  18. wotter_otter501

Lol nope. No game is worth $80. Are they serious

  19. I was semi interested in this yesterday. But def not at that price.

For $79.99, they could’ve chosen a nice looking retro font instead of the basic word document font they had in the trailer…

  21. BaneThoth766

This. This will drop in price.

No hope for Zelda to, but this definitely will
